I'm an avid reader about 50% of the year. Sometimes it's inspiring, sometimes it's technical, sometimes it's smut, but it's always sci-fi or fantasy. I might try to document what I'm reading here. I use StoryGraph decently regularly though. We'll see how this goes.
I'm also including video games here. I think it counts. They all have a plot after all. I may start including TV shows and movies. If I do, they'll be labeled.

The Never King by Nikki St. Crowe:
Full Cast Audiobook
: A reimagining of Peter Pan. Wendy Darling seems to have done something to Peter or caused a series of negative events to unfold generations ago. Peter is kidnapping Darling women when they turn 18. He always returns them. We're following Winnie Darling who's mother was mentally broken by her encounter by Peter. She thought her mother was crazy until she was kidnapped too. I'm 3/4 of the way through and I'm still not sure what he wants with the Darlings or what Wendy did. There seems to be some looming 3rd party we haven't been introduced to that might actually be the big bad. It's a series. I just picked an audio book from one of the popular lists on Hoopla. I expected a little bit more plot development. It seems to be focused on slowly unfolding lore to the reader. It feels like a pilot episode of a tv show instead of season 1 of a tv show. My bestie said they read all the books and they were great, so I'm going to press forward.
Blue Prince developed by Dogubomb:
Video Game
: This is a rogue like video game. The premise is a boy's uncle dies and leave the mansion to him. He has a clause in his will that requires you to look for the 46th room in a 45 room house. You're not allowed to spend the night in the house, you have limited foot steps, and the house floor plan keeps changing. You solve puzzles and piece together the unusual history of the house to get closer to finding the 46th room. This is not like the old object finding games of the late 90s/early 2000s. There was some serious thought put in to these clues. They often span rooms and days. The ever changing house adds difficulty to finding the specific answers you're looking for. Determining which clues are for puzzles and which clues are just good world building adds to the fun. It's fabulous! I think it's a good game for nearly every game player.
Dealing with Dragons by Patricia C Wrede:
Book
: I've gotten about 40% through my reread. I'm putting it aside for now.
: This is my favorite book. I reread it all the time. I got it in second grade from my teacher. Her son had just gone to college and she said he loved it. It's one of those books that helps you define your personality.
Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce:
Book
: Did not get very far. Pausing for now.
: Also high up there on my favorite books. Also a character defining book. It's not my favorite in the series, but it leads to so much more. I love that the series lets you follow the main character from child to adult.
Metamorphoses by Ovid translated by Stephanie McCarter:
Book
: Pausing for now. I reset my kobo after a failed attempt at some mods an my notes were separated from my book.
: I'm working on upping my Greek mythology knowledge. I have an idea for a book that I want to be based around existing Greek mythology stories, but I don't feel like I know the original stories. I've mostly been exposed to mythology tropes and rewrites.
The Pleasures of Hell by NovusAnimus:
Web Novel
: Pausing for now.
: This is an erotica on Literotica, but, dare I say, an erotica with a plot. It's an ongoing book still, but the author is active. It follows 2 main characters as they roam hell trying to understand why they're in hell and how they can save it.
